Brief Description

The project comprised detailed design and technical support for the expansion of the El-Obour Water Treatment Plant, with a capacity of 440,000 m³/day. It included assessment of raw water sources, topographic and geotechnical surveys, and complete design of a new shore intake, intermediate pump stations, and a 10 km long, 1800 mm pre-stressed concrete transmission pipeline. The scope also covered design of four valve chambers for connection to existing lines, surge protection (water hammer analysis), SCADA system design, and construction support.
