Brief Description
The construction of new lock at km 100 on El-Nubaria Canal. The project objectives are to replace the current lock, decrease the average of the traffic time for the navigation units from 30 to 20 minutes, decrease the wastewater, face the expected increase on the river transport, decrease the water pressure on the gates to 50% and achieve the possibility of passing the river units in case of the river low level.
